This week in Social Studies 

                         9/8 -9/12

                                                          6th Grade:   

 This week we will continue to explore maps and the world using Studies Weekly. We will learn how geography and population are represented on various maps. Students will also view the book, 14 Cows for America, in remembrance of Patriot Day (911).

                     7th Grade:   

 This week we will continue reviewing the regions of Texas! Please help your child to study the regions. A test will be given when we complete all four. We will be looking back on 911 in remembrance of Patriot Day on September 11th.

                      8th Grade:  

Eighth grade will be finishing European exploration of North America. Students did a great job creating their own presentations over European exploration! There will be a review this week and a quiz over the material covered.  We will also be looking back on 911 in remembrance of Patriot Day on September 11th.
