1ST GRADE Students in 1st grade are taught appropriate curriculum with an extra emphasis on becoming proficient in reading, writing, spelling, and other key communicational areas in order to further build their literacy skills. This is accomplished through both literary and phonics based methods of learning and practiced by focused independent reading. |
