HISTORY

1908
Crosby, Texas, residents begin holding church services in their homes. These early residents would later form the Sacred Heart Church as it is known today.

1913-1915
Construction of the first Church building begins and is named Sacred Heart.

1948
Sacred Heart Parish builds Sacred Heart Catholic School and begins educating the mind, heart, and spirit of children from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

1981-1982
In 1981, the original school building burned. Rev. John Feidler built the present school building which was completed in 1982.

2003
Rev. Terence Brinkman built the Early Childhood Building in 2003.

2018
The school celebrates 70 years of faith and education.

2023
Sacred Heart Catholic School celebrates 75 years of Catholic Education in Crosby.
